Advanced on-device background removal powered by ONNX Runtime Web (WebGPU when available, WASM otherwise). After cutout, edit with Fabric.js — replace background color or image, undo/redo, and export PNG, JPG, or WebP.

  3. Edit the cutout in the Fabric canvas and export

Worked example

A product photo is segmented locally with U²-Netp, opened in Fabric.js, given a brand-color background, and exported as JPG.

Frequently asked questions

Does this upload my photos?

No. Inference and editing run entirely in your browser. Only the ONNX model/WASM runtime may be fetched from a CDN on first use and then cached.

WebGPU or WASM?

The tool prefers WebGPU when the browser supports it, and automatically falls back to WebAssembly.

How is this different from Background Remover?

This tool uses ONNX Runtime Web directly, exposes download/inference progress, and opens the result in a Fabric.js editor for background replace and multi-format export.
